BURIABLE TRICKLE TANKS

A Trickle Tank consists of a single chamber, and is based on the simple principle of displacement. An amount of effluent is discharged to the field equal in volume to the sewage entering the tank. No sewage pump is required, as this is a gravity flow system.

BURIABLE HOLDING TANKS

A Holding Tank is a single chamber tank without an outlet. Accumulated sewage must be “pumped out” at regular intervals and transported elsewhere for disposal. Tanks come with a child-proof lid, complete with suction pump-out fitting.

BURIABLE SIPHON TANKS

A Siphon Tank consists of two chambers separated by an internal divider, with a built in siphon through which effluent is discharged. No sewage pump is necessary, as the siphon works on a gravity flow basis. After initial priming the siphon regulates the amount of effluent distributed to the field upon each discharge. This allows for even dispersal of effluent throughout the field in sufficient quantities to prevent freezing of the system.

BURIABLE PUMP-OUT TANKS

A Pump-Out Tank consists of two chambers separated by an internal divider. Effluent is discharged to the field in regulated amounts via a submersible or remotely installed sewage pump, which is generally traggered by an automatic control switch.

BURIABLE WATER STORAGE TANKS
- HORIZONTAL

Equinox Buriable Water Storage Tanks are manufactured from fiberglass on the same modular principle as the underground septic and holding tanks. Water storage tanks have a 11/4” (32) FIP bulkhead outlet fitting, 3” (76) ABS fill fitting, and 11/2” (38) solvent weld fitting. These tanks are suitable for burial to a depth of up to 2’ (610). Recommended installation involves burying the tank with a 3” (76) layer of insulating styrofoam placed 6” (152) above the tank. Tank buriable to a depth of 7’ (2135) are available on special request at an additional cost of 10%. Contact factory for details.

FREE STANDING SEPTIC AND WATER STORAGE TANKS
- HORIZONTAL

Free standing fiberglass tanks are self-supporting and ideal for those locations where a tank cannot be buried. Disassembled, the sections can be taken through standard doorways and assembled for indoor use. Water storage models also include a 3"(76) ABS fill coupling, a 11/2” (38) ABS vent, a 11/4” (32) bulkhead drain fitting and a child-proof lid.

FREE STANDING SEPTIC AND WATER STORAGE TANKS
- VERTICAL

Equinox Free Standing Water Storage Tanks are manufactured of fiberglass and are designed for use inside buildings or exterior locations where the burial of a tank would be impractical. Individual sections pass through standard doorways, facilitating indoor on-site assembly. These tanks have a 11/4” (32) bulkhead FIP outlet fitting. Models with lids also have a 3” (76) Bulkhead and a 11/2” (38) Bulkhead fitting. Lids are child-proof.
